Heart Healthy Habits


In January, Jo teamed up with The Running Granny, Angela White, to deliver a month of daily tips aimed at improving our lifestyles and specifically, the health of our heart.


Heart disease is the leading cause of death worldwide, including 75,000 people a year in the UK, yet many of these deaths are entirely preventable. Our risk of developing heart disease is increased by poor choices in exercise, diet and lifestyle. The good news is that it’s never too late, or too early, to instil positive lifestyle habits, leading to a longer and happier life. Improvements in your physical health also often correlate with improved mental health, which is so important, especially given the current circumstances.
